Say hello to what may become the fastest-ever road-legal car around the Nurburgring.
It’s called the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG003S and it’s the American automaker’s first production model. According to the company, it expects the supercar to beat the Porsche 918 Spyder around the ‘Ring by nearly half-a-minute, with the target time set at 6:30. That’s also within 20 seconds of the all-time record of 6:11, set by Stefan Bellof in 1983.
The current production car record is held by the Porsche 918 Spyder with a lap time of 6:57.

The expected lap time has been projected from real data obtained from the SCG003C during competition at the Nurburgring. Of course, the company is taking into consideration the differences between the race car and the street car. The street-going SCG003S does have more power at 800 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque, compared to the race car’s restricted 550 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. It is also expected to be lighter.
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus also boasts that the SCG003S is the fastest cornering car on the road, capable of generating 2g through corners.
The supercar is hand-built in Italy by Manifattura Automobili Torino (MAT) and features a carbon fiber chassis powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine.
